Technology: Learning How Blind People Explore the World

Technology has removed many barriers to education and employment for visually impaired individuals. Students with visual impairments can complete homework, do research, take tests, and read books thanks to advances in technology. Inventor and IBM Fellow Chieko Asakawa, who's been blind since the age of fourteen, is working on answering these questions in this innovative TED Talk.
